Qlik Connect 2024 was nothing short of amazing, not just for its vibrant atmosphere but also for the palpable successes we experienced.
Beyond the buzz, we showcased our latest advancements for Qlik Sense, gathered a wealth of insights, made meaningful contacts, and ran a hit interactive game that became the talk of the event. We even clinched a win in the social media contest — an unplanned but welcome accolade indeed!
Join us for a recap of our time at Qlik Connect in Orlando.
Spectacular Gathering
Anticipation was high as we headed into Qlik Connect, eager to engage with the global Qlik community. Qlik’s events like this are always a blast, and we were proud to return as sponsors.
Visualizations That Stole the Show
At Booth 807, our Decomposition Tree, Gantt Chart, and Sunburst Diagram took center stage, captivating many curious eyes.
Interest also extended to our Timeline, Bullseye, and other charts for Qlik Sense, highlighting the demand for sophisticated visualizations within the Qlik analytics environment.
Packed to the Rafters
From June 3rd to 5th, our booth was a hotspot, continually buzzing with professionals eager to enhance their dashboards with the visualizations we offer. We were pleased to reconnect with our existing customers and meet new people. Many came directly to us to discuss collaborations, while others just dropped by and found our solutions interesting.
Game On!
To add more fun, we hosted an interactive game inspired by the popular NYT’s Connections. It was designed to challenge attendees’ data smarts, specifically the understanding of our flagship charts for Qlik Sense and their applications in data analysis. Participants played online, and winners were invited to enter a lucky draw at our booth for a chance to win a new iPad.
We ensured inclusivity by providing ample hints through leaflets and visual clues directly on the booth’s back wall.
The game was a resounding success. It was really inspiring to see so many participants enrolling and enjoying it.
Curious minds can still experience the Connections game on our website. Though the iPad giveaway has concluded (keep reading for details), you’re welcome to challenge your understanding of data viz or simply have fun learning some advanced concepts like the Decomposition Tree.
Exposed Recognition by Qlik
It was fantastic to see such great interest in our solutions from Qlik’s team as well. We were delighted to welcome many Qlik team members at our booth and show them firsthand how our solutions bring new capabilities to Qlik Sense, enhancing its value to their customers and boosting Qlik’s competitive stance in the BI market.
Moreover, our visuals were displayed at the Qlik Partner Engineering team’s booth. It was hard to snap a photo without catching someone deeply engrossed in our Decomposition Tree on the monitor! 🙂
Healthcare Analysis Demo App Unveiled
Just before the event, we released a new Qlik Sense demo app tailored for healthcare institutions: Healthcare (Oncology) Dashboard. It features a suite of our visualizations, including the Decomposition Tree, Gantt Chart, Combo Chart, Sunburst Chart, and Timeline Chart, showcasing how these tools can improve data analysis.
This demo was very well received by attendees from the healthcare and pharma industries, revealing potential applications for their specific data challenges.
In Media Spotlight
As a notable event in the data analytics community, Qlik Connect naturally drew considerable media attention, and we were thrilled to be part of it. We engaged in several interviews with prominent publications like Computerworld, The Times of India, and ERP Today. Discussions highlighted how Qlik excels in enabling data analysis and business intelligence, the appeal of Qlik’s robust partnership environment for solution developers like us, and how Qlik, together with AnyChart, is advancing the future of data visualization and analytics.
Qlik Connect iPad Giveaway Winner Announced
The excitement culminated on the evening of June 5th, the last day of Qlik Connect, when we announced the winner of our iPad game. A crowd gathered at our booth to witness the lucky draw.
Congratulations to the winner — Gregory Adcock from SME Solutions Group! He not only demonstrated his data literacy by mastering our Connections game but also emerged as the luckiest among the many participants.
Enjoy your new iPad, Gregory, and thanks for joining the fun at Qlik Connect!
Qlik Connect Social Media Champions — AnyChart
Shortly after the lucky draw and the cheers to the winner, Qlik’s CMO Chris Powell visited our booth and, to our surprise, congratulated us for winning the social media activity contest among sponsors. This was a proud moment, especially as it was completely unexpected and not something we had actively aimed for.
We were informed that engagement on social media during #QlikConnect was the key factor. So we see this win as another testament to the broad interest and enthusiasm for AnyChart within the Qlik community. 😎
Grand Finale
The final night of Qlik Connect 2024 at Universal Islands of Adventure was as spectacular as expected, echoing the grandeur of the previous year’s QlikWorld 2023 appreciation party at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It was a fitting memorable end to an eventful conference, filled with learning, networking, celebration, and fun.
Grateful and Energized for the Future
As Qlik Connect wrapped up, we were left sorting through hundreds of new contacts and brimming with fresh ideas. The interactions we had sparked a host of ideas to enhance and expand our offerings, further improving your data analytics experiences. Stay tuned for exciting product updates from AnyChart as we continue to lead in data analytics and visualization tech.
Thank you, Qlik Connect 2024! See you all next year at Qlik Connect 2025 coming back to Orlando, May 13–15. We know it will be another must-attend event, and we look forward to being there with you.
